Privacy Policy
3D-TVision and 3D Effects · Developer: Superallen · Effective date: September 25, 2026
In short
3D-TVision does not collect, store or send your personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics or tracking in the app. Sound is analyzed on your computer only to drive the visuals.
1. Audio
The app analyzes the audio you choose - a file you play, what your PC is playing (Live), or your microphone (Mic mix) - on your computer, in memory, to produce visual effects. It does not record audio, save it to files, keep a listening history, or upload audio or anything derived from it. It does not use audio for advertising, profiling or AI training. Short audio buffers exist in memory only while analysis runs.
2. Microphone
Mic mix is off until you turn it on. A microphone hears the room, including other people's voices; the same local-only processing applies. You can turn it off in the app, and Windows lets you allow or block microphone access in Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone.
3. What stays on your computer
These are stored on your own computer and never sent anywhere:
- Settings - your effect settings, window layout, web favourites and similar preferences, in your Windows user profile (
%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\3D-TVision). - Local logs - short technical logs in the same folder, used only if you choose to send them when asking for support.
- Your files - add-on effects, photos, texts and saved settings you add, in
Documents\3D-TVision(or next to the app for the portable version).
Uninstalling the app does not delete these folders. Delete them yourself to remove everything.
4. Network
The app does not connect to the internet by itself. Its parts talk to each other over a local connection on your computer (127.0.0.1), which other devices cannot reach. When you open a web page or press Get more effects, the app asks your default web browser to open it; what happens on those sites is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Microsoft Store
Downloading, installing and updating 3D-TVision through the Microsoft Store is handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft gives developers aggregated reports, such as install counts and, if Windows diagnostic data is enabled on your device, crash reports that may include technical details like the app version, Windows version and the point in the app where it failed. We use these only to find and fix problems.
6. Buying 3D Effects
3D Effects is sold separately, outside the app. The store you buy from and its payment provider process your payment under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details. We receive the order information such stores share with sellers, such as your email address and what you bought, and use it only to deliver your purchase and help you with it.
7. This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. It is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may log technical information such as IP addresses to operate the service; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.
8. Children
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
9. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions: allenspace.3dtvision@gmail.com.
